What Is Fairy Hair/Sparkle Hair?

Thin colorful strands made from 100% Thai silk and are applied to one hair strand at a time by using my special and intricate technique. There is NO heat and NO glue used.

Sparkle Hair is a really subtle way to add a little bit of fun and sparkle to your hair in a non-permanent way.

These metallic strings give the illusion of colorful and shimmering temporary highlights.

Sparkle hair is the low-maintenance, but colorful accessory we can wear all year long.

Whether you wear your hair down or up in a ponytail or braids, fairy hair/sparkle hair is a great way to elevate your style. All hair types and textures can try the trend.

Travel Areas: Christine travels to her clients! I service the Illinois north, northwest, south, southwest suburbs and Garfield Ridge area near Chicago Midway Airport.

Pricing: $3 a strand, 10 strand minimum for single appointments.

For Sparkle Parties and/or Corporate Events there is an hourly rate. Please call directly for details.

Does fairy hair/sparkle hair damage your hair?

Fairy/sparkle hair "DOES NOT" damage your hair!

How long does fairy hair last?

Each strand lasts as long as that one piece of hair stays on your head. It could be a day, a week, a month or several months. Most adults retain their fairy hair versus children who tend to lose their sparkle hair sooner.

Can I wash, style and color my hair with fairy hair in?

Yes! You can wash, flat iron, curl, (up to 350 degrees) and process hair like normal, because the strands are silk and will not melt.

Can fairy/sparkle hair be removed?

Yes! Apply conditioner directly to the fairy/sparkle knot and rub gently until you can find a loop opening, then get it out with a rattail tip comb or a small needle.

How many colors are there to pick from?

Several! gold, silver, shades of pinks, blues, purples, greens, browns, oranges, red, black and rainbow.
